We are growing and searching for a highly motivated Multimedia Designer to join our team. This is a “roll up your sleeves” opportunity to jump in and create, execute and evaluate digital and traditional marketing strategies and initiatives.

As Multimedia Designer, you’ll contribute your skills and expertise to a wide variety of projects conceptualizing and executing creative solutions for a variety of media platforms. You must be an enthusiastic, committed team player looking to increase your knowledge base and gain exposure to many industries.

Ideally, you are a self-directed, forward thinker with 1-3 years of experience envisioning and bringing to life creative marketing communication pieces. That means that with a great attitude and thirst for knowledge, you’ll be in a position to learn a LOT about the creative process and communicating effectively through design.

Multimedia Designer Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing visually appealing graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia elements for marketing campaigns, websites, social media platforms, and other promotional materials
  • Taking ownership of multimedia projects from concept to completion, including planning, organizing, and executing design projects within specified timelines and budget constraints
  • Collaborate internally and with clients to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms
  • Staying updated on the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in multimedia design, and incorporating them into the work to deliver innovative and engaging designs that resonate with the target audience
  • Handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to create accurate price estimates and breakdowns while delivering solutions within budget
  • Conduct pre- and post-production quality checks
  • Submit creative deliverables within the agreed-upon deadline and budget
  • Maintain cutting-edge industry knowledge and trends
  • Drive best practices, lessons learned and processes/procedures for overarching PLAID multimedia processes

Education and Experience

  • 1-3+ years of creative design experience, including proven relevant experience
  • BFA/BA from an accredited university in Media or Fine Arts preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Experience with creating across various mediums (digital, print, etc)
  • Committed to continuous learning and personal development
