We’re THE PLAID AGENCY…an award-winning, full-service advertising agency specializing in customer insights, fundamental fierceness and a passion to deliver. We are growing and searching for a highly motivated Account Executive to join our team. This is a “roll up your sleeves” opportunity to jump in and manage the creation, execution and evaluation of digital and traditional marketing strategies and initiatives.

Account Executive Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Account Growth

  • Analyze campaign performance across channels; synthesize insights into strategic recommendations that improve client outcomes and demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within accounts through proactive strategic planning and business-aligned recommendations.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews: present performance data, strategic insights, and growth roadmaps to senior client stakeholders.


Project & Workflow Management

  • Build and drive project plans: scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
  • Run stand-ups and status: agendas, notes, action items, and follow-through.
  • Maintain accurate timelines and resourcing; flag risks early and propose options.
  • Own handoffs and QA—no deliverable ships without your eyes on it.


Client Partnership

  • Be a trusted day-to-day partner: clear updates, smart asks, and proactive recommendations.
  • Capture goals and KPIs; translate strategy into briefs, SOWs, and workback plans.
  • Prep/lead portions of client meetings with confidence and clarity.
  • Navigate difficult conversations—scope changes, budget constraints, timeline shifts—with solutions-oriented professionalism.


Integrated Marketing Execution

  • Coordinate cross-discipline work (strategy, content, design, web/dev, media, PR).
  • Support digital programs (email, social, paid search/social, analytics) with practical, data-aware recommendations.
  • Contribute to web and social best practices (UX/SEO basics, content structure, accessibility considerations).
  • Roll up your sleeves: write project briefs, build presentation decks, draft client-facing documents, QA live sites, and jump into execution when the team needs support.
  • Help manage vendors/freelancers to scope, schedule, and budget.


Quality & Operations

  • Uphold brand, editorial, and accessibility standards; execute QC checklists.
  • Keep documentation tight: briefs, scopes, change orders, recaps, and retros.
  • Mentor junior team members on client management, project execution, and agency best practices.
  • Help improve our playbooks and templates (SOPs) so the whole team gets faster and better.
